How to Buy US Stocks on Binance: Step-by-Step Guide

Last fact check: August 24, 2026. This guide explains how to verify a product and an order; it does not claim that any Binance stock product is available in every country or account.

If the goal is a direct Binance Stocks order, start at Trade → Stock and verify the instrument before entering an amount. The same company can also appear as a bStock certificate or a stock perpetual, but those are separate products rather than alternate buttons in the share-order flow.

Table of contents

Identify the product before the ticker

For a direct share order, the route should show Trade → Stock, a market or limit order, and a Funding or Spot payment source. Confirm the company name, listing exchange, ticker and Stock label together before continuing.

Stop and reclassify the instrument if the screen instead shows Spot → bStocks, a token contract, Futures → TradFi, leverage or funding. The full product comparison explains those certificate and derivative routes without duplicating them here.

Check actual account eligibility

Binance describes Stocks Trading as available only to eligible users, with features varying by jurisdiction. bStocks have a separate offering structure and geographic boundary. According to Binance’s current explanation, the certificates are offered under an ADGM-approved prospectus, are not publicly offered outside ADGM, and may be available for secondary-market trading only to eligible users in permitted jurisdictions.

Before registration or deposit:

  1. Confirm that the domain is binance.com and the connection is secure.
  2. Complete KYC through the official flow using accurate residency information.
  3. Check whether Trade → Stock, Spot → bStocks or Futures → TradFi actually appears after verification.
  4. Read the legal entity, custody chain, product terms and country restriction shown to your account.
  5. If a feature is unavailable, do not use a VPN, false address or inaccurate residency data to bypass the restriction.

A visible button is not proof that a product is lawful, tax-efficient or suitable for you. Local rules and personal circumstances still require separate review.

Place a Binance Stocks order: seven checkpoints

Binance’s Stocks guide, updated June 4, 2026, describes a similar core workflow on web and mobile. Interface labels can change, so use these checkpoints as a verification sequence rather than a promise that every screen will look identical.

1. Open Trade → Stock

Confirm the full company name, exchange, ticker and instrument label. A similarly named ETF, ADR, bStock or perpetual contract is not interchangeable with the common share.

2. Read what you are buying

Binance says the Stocks service is provided by Nest Trading Limited with an external brokerage partner. The brokerage partner holds the share in custody, while the user is described as the beneficial owner and may be eligible for applicable dividends and corporate actions. That arrangement is not automatically equivalent to the investor-protection regime of a domestic brokerage account.

3. Select the funding source

Orders are primarily settled in USDC. The official guide currently lists supported funding assets including USDC, BNB, USDT, U and USD1; a non-USDC asset can be converted when the order is submitted. Unused converted USDC and sale proceeds return to the Funding Account. Check the live conversion preview because supported assets and rates can change. The funding walkthrough explains this cash path in more detail.

4. Separate market and limit orders

A market order prioritizes execution, not a guaranteed price, and is available only during regular trading hours. A limit order sets a price boundary but may not fill. Depending on the selected session, limit orders can remain eligible during extended or 24-hour sessions. DAY expires at the end of the relevant day; GTC may remain for up to 90 days, but is not available for fractional orders under the current guide.

5. Check the session

Selected instruments may trade for up to 24 hours on weekdays, excluding weekends and US holidays. Liquidity can be thinner and bid/ask spreads wider outside the main US session. Convert the session to your local time and account for US daylight-saving changes.

6. Read every line of Preview

Match the ticker, buy/sell side, share quantity, trade value, estimated conversion, fee, session, time in force, funding source and final instrument. If a “Tokenize my shares” option is enabled, verify whether the result will be a bStock rather than a brokerage-held share. The preview is a checkpoint, not a guarantee of the final market execution price.

7. Preserve the record

After confirmation, record the order ID, time, instrument, quantity, USDC cost, conversion rate and fees. Reconcile the result in Holdings and transaction history. A small first order can expose process errors before more capital is involved, but it cannot remove market risk.

When bStocks or stock perpetuals may be relevant

bStocks and stock perpetuals require separate decisions about ownership, custody, leverage, funding and exit. They are not substitutes to select merely because the direct Stocks route is unavailable or the ticker looks familiar.

Use the three-product comparison linked above for that decision, then return to this walkthrough only if the intended result is a brokerage-held beneficial interest through Binance Stocks.

Final checklist before registration

  • Can I distinguish a share, tokenized certificate and derivative contract?
  • Is the intended product officially enabled in my verified account and jurisdiction?
  • Have I read the service entity, custody and exit terms?
  • Does the preview show the expected instrument, currency, session and total cost?
  • Can I retain enough records for local tax reporting?
  • Have I enabled strong two-factor authentication before depositing?

Before choosing a ticker, use the SEC EDGAR stock-research workflow to test the company rather than the product menu. If you plan to buy less than one share, also review how fractional shares, dividends and stock splits are recorded.
